Vontavon – speck ham and ham from South Tyrol

Vontavon Srl is a family-run company with around 25 employees. It is a founding member of the Speck Alto Adige Consortium and stands out for its very particular production methods, which it applies with the same passion and care to the production of speck ham, regional specialities, ham, sausages and Fleischkäse.
In its production facility in Bressanone, which covers an area of over 5,000 m² and was recently refurbished according to the highest standards in food technology, the regional specialities of Vontavon are produced.
We have remained faithful to our origins since way back in 1957, with excellence being our top priority: all our speck varieties are produced by the expert hands of our master pork butchers, who select the finest pork meat and spices following ancient recipes and strict techniques, such as smoking the products over beech wood, after which they are slowly and skilfully matured in the fresh mountain air of South Tyrol.
